Hyderabad Weather Update: Yellow Alert Issued as Minimum Temperatures Drop
The Telangana Development Planning Society (TDPS) has issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad, cautioning residents about low minimum temperatures expected over the next three days. Several localities in the city recorded sharp drops in temperatures in the last 24 hours, signaling colder conditions during early mornings and nights.
As of Tuesday, Serilingampally reported the lowest minimum temperature at 7.8 degrees Celsius, followed closely by Ramchandrapuram and Patancheruvu at 7.9 degrees Celsius. Moulali recorded 8.2 degrees Celsius, while Rajendranagar and Maredpally registered 8.4 degrees Celsius and 10.3 degrees Celsius, respectively. Quthbullapur saw temperatures dip to 10.6 degrees Celsius, while other areas, including Saroornagar, Alwal, and Balanagar, reported minimums just above 10 degrees Celsius.
TDPS forecasts indicate that these colder conditions will persist for the next three days, with minimum temperatures likely to range between 10.8 degrees Celsius and 11.6 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. On Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, settling between 12.6 degrees Celsius and 13.4 degrees Celsius, while Friday may see further increases, reaching between 16 degrees Celsius and 18.6 degrees Celsius in most areas.
Meanwhile, warmer temperatures were recorded in localities like Uppal at 15.8 degrees Celsius and Charminar at 15.9 degrees Celsius, placing them above the yellow alert threshold. Regions like Amberpet, Musheerabad, and Saidabad also reported higher minimum temperatures.
